I’m Moshe Katz, Architect & Educator, an architect, author, teacher and mentor with more than 25 years of experience in architecture, design, creativity and education.

​

I studied architecture in Florence, Italy, and over the years my work has developed through architectural practice, research, writing, multidisciplinary design and teaching. Alongside my professional work as an architect, I have created books, courses and educational programs exploring architecture, creativity, visual thinking and the development of original ideas.

I am the author of books including Into Creativity, Teen Architect, Flowism - Cure Your Perfectionism and The Book of Homo Somniator, and the creator of more than 15 online courses for architecture students, designers and creative thinkers.

Today, a central part of my work is 1:1 architecture portfolio tutoring and mentoring.

I work with high school students preparing portfolios for architecture school and university admission, helping them develop original projects, stronger concepts, creative processes, models, sketches, diagrams, visual storytelling and a portfolio that communicates their individual way of thinking.

I also work with architecture students, graduates and junior architects preparing professional architecture portfolios for jobs and internships. Together, we strengthen project selection, drawings, plans, sections, diagrams, renders, layouts, technical communication and overall portfolio structure so the work becomes clearer, more professional and more convincing to architecture studios.

My approach goes beyond making a portfolio look attractive. I help students understand what makes their work distinctive, how to communicate ideas with confidence and how to develop the combination of creativity, architectural thinking and professional presentation that schools and employers are looking for.

For me, strong architecture is never only technical. It also requires curiosity, vision, originality and the ability to transform an idea into meaningful space.
